About

Awareness is not an intelligence competition.

People do not transform when the truth is shown to them. They transform when the truth becomes less dangerous than the escape. I believe this is true from what I have observed, but I could be wrong about some of it. It is a working hypothesis, not a final answer.

I try not to offer generic advice, though I sometimes fall into that trap. I attempt to explore uncomfortable truths—failure, loneliness, moral corrosion—without pretending to have mastered them. I write about emotions, but I hope I am not cultivating victimhood or grandiosity — not turning suffering into identity, and not turning awareness into superiority. My intention is to point toward solutions. If I had to name my central direction, it would be this: to help reduce the gap between human potential and everyday reality, starting with my own.

For a long time, I wrote to bring order to my own understanding—to connect events, draw conclusions, and offer direction. That was my way of resisting chaos. Over time, I have come to suspect that the need for a conclusion can be a subtle defense against uncertainty. So I am learning to write differently. I still value rigor, but I am trying to become more comfortable with “we don’t know yet” without rushing to fill the silence. When I feel the urge to simplify, I try to notice it rather than hide it. Here you will find information, context, and interpretation, but also their limits. I do not pretend to lead you. I hope to observe alongside you: what we know, what we assume, what we project, and what we might need to question.

I am someone with many interests, though I don’t love the label some might use for it. I divide my energy between social causes, psychological reflection, and civic participation. In Romania, I try to occupy a space that is not very crowded: that of someone who cares about both ideas and practical action. I do not claim to repair society. I only hope to contribute a little to its repair, often clumsily.

I have focused on decoding the complex systems shaping our reality. My published portfolio includes national socio-political commentary written for Adevărul and Oficiul de Știri, business and economic analyses for Capital and Puterea Financiară, as well as an extensive series on personal development and applied psychology that I authored for MedAtlas.

My thinking leans on a few convictions, but I hold them provisionally. Neuroplasticity suggests we can change our patterns at any age, though not without effort and structural support. Mental hygiene: I treat information somewhat like food, so I try to be selective about what I consume, though I fail at this regularly. And total alignment: I suspect health is not just the absence of disease but some degree of coherence between thought, action, and environment. Again, these are directions, not dogmas.

I try to end most analyses with a concrete suggestion. Not because action is always superior to reflection, but because I personally need that push. I am skeptical of waiting for saviors, so I advocate for self‑leadership in financial, emotional, and civic matters—while acknowledging that not everyone starts from the same place. I also believe in local, stateless collaboration, though I know how naive that can sound.

For a clearer view of how I approach evidence, interpretation, uncertainty, victimhood, grandiosity, and responsibility, you can read the Editorial Principles.

Some people appreciate what I write. Others find it pretentious, cold, or overly serious. Both reactions may be valid. I do not claim to offer comfort. I offer what I can: an imperfect attempt at coherence between psychology, society, and action. I am writing for those who are tired of running—and for myself, who still runs more often than I would like. We can try to build something, slowly, together.
